Update 7.8 ~ Word Search

A new free reveal. You pick the words that mean something to the two of you and write the memory behind each one. They hunt for the words in a gilded grid, every find opens its memory, and the letters nobody circled light up to spell your wish.

Wish360 ~ a photo they have to turn around for

Their name goes on a chalkboard sign in front of them and your words are written in sparks behind them. One wish makes a Facebook 360, an Instagram carousel and a short video. 16 scenes so far; the New Year’s harbour is free and the whole library is $1.49, once.

Update 7.7 ~ Shake is now a snow globe

The Shake reveal got a glow-up. They have to properly shake the globe (about three seconds, no cheating with one flick), then fall into a tiny village with a music box and their name in the snow.

Birth Sky now comes with a Facebook 360 photo

In their feed it’s a wooden sign with their name on it. Turn the phone around and the real sky from the night they were born appears, with their name written in the stars. Post it straight from your phone through Share, no extra cost.

1,000 wishes

WishCopy passed 1,000 wishes sent. Thank you, and here’s to the next thousand.

Use your own photo as a backdrop

Upload a photo as the backdrop for any surprise reveal, Party Invitation or Group Wish. Your words stay readable on top of it.

Update 7.6 ~ new prices

On this date premium reveals (Birth Sky, Music Box, Pop-Up Book, Zodiac, The Shed) dropped to $0.89 each, with a free preview first. Encore went to $0.89, once, and the Birth Sky printable A4 sky became $0.10 extra, $0.99 with the print.

Update 7.5 ~ nine reveals got a glow-up

Piano, Scratch, Dark Room (was Gallery), Bloom, Wax Seal, Puzzle, Cannon, Unwrap and Rocket were all redesigned, with new sounds on every one. Still free, no sign-up.

Update 7.4 ~ Sparkler

A midnight lake, real sparks, and the sender’s sparkler lights theirs. They paint with it, their scribbles fly into their name, then time freezes and an instant photo develops.

Update 7.3 ~ Balloons, Treasure and Piñata

Three reveals redesigned from scratch: gold foil letters and a slow-motion last pop, a painted chest with a fountain of coins, and a blindfolded piñata that bursts into sweets. All spell their name.

Update 7.2 ~ Sticker peel and Candles

The Sticker reveal is now a real peel. Pick from 12 ready-made stickers or make your own in the Sticker Studio. Candles got a glow-up too: a match lights them and trick candles relight twice.

Update 7.1 ~ the gold dot

A gold dot appears on your Sent button when someone reacts to your wish. Open Sent Experiences and it clears. No notifications, app or email needed.

The Shed

A paid reveal for the bloke who says he doesn’t want anything: a note under his wiper, a dirt road, a key to find, and something under the tarp with his name on it. Watch it free before you pay.

Wishes can talk back

Recipients can react to a wish with one tap on an emoji and an optional line. It shows up in your Sent box. No account for either of you.

Zodiac

A gemstone that forms in their open hand through their phone camera, cut to the exact day they were born, with your voice hidden inside. Preview free, never expires.

Update 6.2

The date picker is now three separate drop-downs for Android users.

The Atrium ~ a door in their floor, in AR

They point their phone at the floor, a door rises up, and what’s behind it is all about them. No app, no headset, no sign-up, no charge.

Pop-Up Book

A five-chapter pop-up book about them. Pull the tabs, spin the wheels, lift the flaps, and your words wait on the last page. Preview free first.

Music Box

Their name becomes a tune: change one letter and the whole song changes. Preview free; the paid version never expires.

Birth Sky

Their name written in the real stars above them the night they were born. It opens on the moon, rewinds the sky to their birth, then winds it forward to tonight. Preview free first, with an optional printable A4 sky.

Update 6.1 ~ Sound Update

Real recorded sound effects replaced the synth beeps on Candles, Rocket, Balloons, Bloom, Gallery and Puzzle. Fixed the Rocket going silent on iPhone, and the phrase library’s read-aloud now uses a neural voice.

WishCopy has been reinvented

A new velvet green and gold look, a candle on the homepage you can blow out, all 16 reveals rebuilt, gold Party Invitations and Group Wishes, and proper link cards in group chats.

Party invites ~ guest counter and link cards

Set how many guests you expect and track RSVPs against it. Invite links now unfurl as a party card (Confetti Pop, Streamer Arch or Disco Night).

Birthday Reminders

Add the birthdays that matter and they drop into your Google or Apple Calendar with a reminder three days early. Import from your contacts or a calendar file. Nothing is uploaded or stored.

Party invitations ~ a better entrance

Tap the envelope and a handwritten note writes itself in cursive before a fireworks burst. The card got gold trim and paper texture, and adding to a calendar is one tap.

Party invitations ~ 29 backdrops

Backdrops went from six to 29, from Dino Jungle and Candy Carnival to Bronze Marble and Art Deco Lounge, plus a full colour wheel.

Party invitations ~ glow-up

One-tap themes, add to Google, Apple or Outlook calendar, a tap-to-navigate map link, dietary needs and headcount in the RSVP, and a QR code for printed invites.

Piano

A new reveal format: they have to play “Happy Birthday” on a tiny on-screen keyboard before they can read the wish. A key glows to guide them, and a wrong note resets it.

Encore

An optional add-on to keep a wish online for good and schedule up to 12 dated follow-up notes that appear on the same link over the year. One payment, nothing renews. Everything else stays free.

Print a WishCopy surprise

Every share link now has a QR code. Show it, then copy, download or print it, and tape it to the gift or tuck it in the card.

Group Wishes ~ organiser link

Starting a Group Wish now gives you a private organiser link, so you can open it on any device, collect everyone’s messages and send the finished card from anywhere.

Sparkler

A new reveal: the screen goes dark, they light a match and feel around blind for a hidden spot to find out what happens.

Saved Stickers

The Sticker Studio now keeps your last 8 creations fully editable (layers, colours, fonts, photos), on the main site, Group Wishes and Party Invitations.
